Tip #2 is all about tax credits! Most all of the energy improvements that are eligible for cash incentives (from Tip #1) will also get you a tax credit when you do your taxes. Tax rules are continually changing so, check with your accountant to see what credits (if any) you qualify for. These may include credits for solar, appliances and other major renovations!
