HANG IN THERE!

Buyers and Sellers,

Now is not the time to get discouraged!  Keep in mind, most of the United States is holding it's breath to see what happens with the election.  If you are a buyer, then you know that inventory is bleak.   Hopefully, there will be more listings come on, after the election.  The best thing you can do is get prepared to take action quickly.  If you will need financing, get prequalified.  If you are a cash buyer, have documentation.  When your special property comes along, waiting a day or two to get your paperwork ready, may cost you a home!

If you are a seller, what are you waiting for?  There are no guarantees of what the future holds!  Prices are at an all time high!  Buyers are constantly looking and it's possible that you could have your place in escrow by the time the election rolls around.  Yes, it's a seller's market but be cautious about overpricing your home.  Unless it is new, freshly remodeled, updated and "neat as a pin", don't expect to get top dollar.  Should your property need too much work, it may not even qualify for a loan.  You'll either need to unload it for cash, or do the work or hire to have it done.  Most buyers still need financing.  Even if they don't, buyers will start deducting from your price, what it will cost them to "fix" your property...even if it is just cosmetic work.

Everyone is tired of COVID-19.  The new normal isn't much fun!  However, the real estate market continues to buzz and more people want out of the cities (especially those that have seen rioting).  So please, hang in there!
